My Back Story
I'm Mike Robinson - a Senior Web Developer at Globacore. Solving problems with code is something I love to do and I've managed to make a great career of it for the better part of ten years. I'm passionate about crafting beautiful experiences and intuitive interactions using clean, concise and manageable code.
During my career I've had the opportunity to work with many high-profile clients including Intel, Honda, Volkswagen, Research In Motion, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft Canada, Reebok, Canadian Tire and GoodLife Fitness.
I've worked with several different technologies and frameworks — check out my resume for details — though for the past two years my preferred tool belt has consisted of Django, Python, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
When I'm not flipping bits, I'm spending time with my fiancée, step-son and our two Labrador Retrievers, honing my culinary skills, jamming on the guitar or pwning noobs on Xbox Live. I love jazz music, craft beer, thunderstorms and the Toronto Raptors.
